INSTALLATION-
** MAKE A BACK UP COPY OF YOUR TEXTURES FOLDERS AND AIRCRAFT CFG DOCUMENT**
Just in case you want to keep the original aircraft.cfg

COPY THE TEXTURE.X FILE AND PASTE IT TO THE BOEING 737-400
FOLDER USING WINDOWS EXPLORER. RENAME THE TEXTURE TO THE NEXT
CORRESPONDING NUMBER DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF TEXURES YOU
HAVE FOR YOUR DEFAULT 737-400. E.G. IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST
TEXTURE FOR YOUR DEFAULT 737-400 THEN THE TEXTURE NUMBER WILL
BE "3" - file name will be "Texture.3"

OPEN THE AIRCRAFT CFG FILE FOUND IN THE AIRCRAFT FOLDER
AND OPEN IT USING NOTEPAD

The above lines are from the aircraft.cfg document found in the
Boeing 737-400 folder. The number "4" represents the texture number.

You will change the letter "X" in line 1, line2 and line 7 to the next
available number of your 737 textures. If this is your first add-on texture
for the Default 737-400, then the number will be "3" because the last texture
number used is "2" (AMERICAN PACIFIC,LANDMARK,ORBIT are assigned 0,1 and 2)

Review:
1. OPEN WINDOWS EXPLORER (RIGHT CLICK ON "START" ON THE BOTTOM MENU OF YOUR WINDOWS SCREEN)
2. GO TO MICROSOFT GAMES/FS2002/AIRCRAFT/BOEING 737-400
3. CLICK THE "BOEING 737-400 FOLDER"
4. YOU SHOULD SEE THE "aircraft.cfg document" listed along with PANEL,SOUND,MODEL and TEXTURE folders
5. RIGHT CLICK ON THE "aircraft.cfg" document and select "EDIT"
6. The aircraft.cfg document should now be displayed with WINDOWS NOTEPAD.
7. Using your left mouse button, position your cursor on the first line of the above text from
the aircraft.cfg. The first line is [fltsim.X]
8. Highlight the 16 lines from [fltsim.x] all the way down to "description"
9. After all 16 lines are highlighted, press the right mouse button and select "COPY"
10.Open the aircraft.cfg using notepad and position the cursor a line after the last
texture in the file, if this is your first texture add on then you will position
the cursor 2 lines under the [fltsim.2]
11.To ensure there is enough room to paste the 16 lines for the new texture description
press the enter key. The remaining text in the file will move down as you hit the
enter key. When there is enough room, position the cursor 2 lines below the last
line of the last texture. (under the "description" line)
12.Press the right mouse button and select "PASTE"
13.After the text is pasted, you have to change the texture number in lines 1,2 and 7
(See example above)
14.Move cursor to Top Menu, select FILE, then SAVE.
15.Open Flight Simulator 2002, select aircraft, select Boeing 737-400 and you should
see your new texture under the "Air Formosa" name

****NOTE*********

FS2002 does not recognize the name "AIR FORMOSA" because it it a fictional airline
so the ATC controller will refer to the plane by its flight number only

You can assign it another name like "Dynasty, Gemini, Flystar, Omni by typing the name on the "atc_airline=" line. Simply type the name after the "="

This aircraft is painted with REFECTIVE TEXTURES, To see the refelctive texture go to FS2002 top menu
and select OPTIONS/SETTINGS/DISPLAY/AIRCRAFT
